It sounds funny, but I like not having any excuses to not work out. There are no events going on — no concerts, no sporting events, no museums to visit. There’s no going out to eat. There’s not even the option to go hang out at a friend’s house.

So without any other things to take up my time, I might as well run (or walk or bike). I have no excuse not to.  It started as a novelty, then became a habit, and now it’s a bit of a compulsion. I’m doing something every day, and I’m actually enjoying it!
