I am in the rapid charging base. I know I cannot fill my ICE based vehicles at home, then again I do not want to update the electrical at home to compensate.

That is the major limiting factor to me. It doesn’t matter if I am going to work or a long trip. If I need a fuel stop, it is a matter of minutes. One idea I read about was a battery swap idea. Pay a fee and “swap” your discharged battery for one that is charged. If done right, this could take about the same time as a ICE fuel stop.

There are many issues to overcome, however that could work and would be something to consider.

Then again, there is the whole idea of how is that battery getting charged, it is not Unicorn dreams and rainbows. Need to make sure we are not swapping one pollution for another.
