Well, I keep looking in vain for a non-existent feature.

I want a genuine family car - by which I mean a car that I can get in with a toddler and a baby and drive away. This is non-existent as far as I can tell - every single manufacturer requires me to fit heavy, complicated, and general pain-in-the-ass aftermarket child seats.

I refuse to believe that this is something beyond the engineering abilities of today’s manufacturers. I mean, the Stow & Go seats from Chrysler in 2005 were like a miracle of engineering. It’s impossible for me to believe that today they couldn’t offer a seat that folds out in 2 seconds to include a rear-facing child seat with a 5-point harness, and the fold away in 1 second when it’s time to cart an adult in that same seat.
