Great topic! I’ll jump in with reverse lights that actually help the driver in, um, reversing. Pontiac Grand Am had these as a nice feature.

A lot of vehicles mount reverse lights to simply blind whoever is approaching the vehicle from behind, but do little-to-nothing for the driver.

On the other hand, the final generation of the Pontiac Grand Am had reverse lights which were low to the ground and illuminated a wide area behind AND to the sides of the vehicle, actually allowing a driver to see where he was reversing. The Grand Am was allright-to-mediocre, but the reverse lights were brilliant compared to what everyone else was placing on their vehicles.
