I don’t know why, but I still have a thing for the final 8th-gen (1995-1999) Buick Riviera. Bonus points if its a Silver Arrow model (last 200 units ever made), and marked up to some ridiculous price because of it.

The final G-body Riviera was really just more GM FWD-boat garbage. It was a great design hampered by poor build quality and thin paint, not to mention a craptastic interior. It wasn’t nearly as well-engineered as Ford’s MN12 cars (but those were really unprofitable, too), and was a reliable car in spite of itself, not by any deliberate effort by GM to create a good product.

And yet...I still love it.
