They tend to have a ton of knowledge about their chosen vehicle and its parts, and how to take it apart and put it back together in the field with minimal hand tools- or how to just get it to limp back home.

They tend to be super helpful when you’re a newbie coming out and need some coaching through an obstacle, or a spotter.

And the day usually wraps with some good times around a campfire with grilled meat and libations. What’s not to like?
