Where else do you:

1.) Get penalized for having the wrong markings on stuff like hoses and bolt heads

2.) Pay thousands of dollars for badging

3.) Intentionally half-ass repairs so that it “looks like it came from the factory”

4.) Have to run out-of-date janky parts/tech on purpose

5.) Have to learn very subtle differences between OEM/NOS parts and repros

6.) Have to learn production timelines, because hey- you can’t have a chambered exhaust system on your ‘69 Z/28 built after November 25, 1968. 

Etc.

And in the end you barely drive it, lest anything get damaged.
