For me, as a racing fan, the attraction is obvious. The problem has always been how to go about watching the races and absorbing the events in a way that doesn’t require me to somehow detach from the world and real life for 6, 10, 12, or 24 hours at a time.

Attending a race is obviously the best way to experience the event, but that is a weekend-long commitment that just can’t happen for me more than once a season at the most.

I work from home and do work that allows me to have some background media playing while I work. My new method is to stream the races, a few days after the fact, on one of my monitors or a tablet. Over the course of a work week I can fit it a full 24 hour race, not to mention pause or rewind as desired. I can even watch multiple endurance series in one season. I love it.
