Lol imagine how insane it would get in the store if someone already having a freakout about having their right not to wear a mask, and someone shot one onto their face. The aftermath of that would make for some legendary film.

They’d likely feel less threatened that if I pinned them down and wrapped duct-tape around their head which is what I’ve often thought about doing.

I’m pretty sure the second amendment would protect my right to use this on people. I’d definitely have to get a high capacity mask magazine though

I think at least some of the mask-launching-aiming problems could be solved be adding small tails to the stings in the four corners of the mask connecting it to the projectiles.

These would function the same way a tail on a kite does, lending it some stability in flight.

    Yes, I’m a nerd.

If they could whistle as they fly (or the gun makes a sound) that would also help make sure a face is in alignment as they go “What the hell is that noise?”

The mask gun is less traumatic than my alternative.

Your alternative is also felony battery and will result in you being shot.

By you? Bitch please, you’d probably shoot yourself in the foot desperately fumbling for your trigger binky if someone actually attacked you.

Oh, wow. An insult from the guy who’s afraid to leave the house without a maxipad on his face.

I have 25 years of Expert ratings from the military, several trophies for combat match, and have served as a marksmanship instructor.

      Do it, faggot.

Ooh, temper temper little man! Didn’t you learn anything about self control during the military career that I’m sure you totally had?

The women I’ve known in my life would take your pathetic incel bullshit and ram it right down your candyass throat.

“Unless your brain is performing Olympic-caliber mental gymnastics, wearing a mask during the pandemic is obviously a good thing and the easiest way to help minimize the spread of the coronavirus.”

I’m very disappointed in Gizmodo’s choice to publish such a statement. There are many people around the world who cannot wear a mask due to health issues - some of which are actually mental health issues.

I’ve been a long time fan Gizmodo. But if you’re going to take this stance, I won’t be returning.

While it’s a fine idea, I’d be concerned about the proportion of maskholes that would return fire with a concealed carry pistol because they felt their souls were being violated by an assault with a Satan-worshipping, commie sheeple mask.

I mean, it really should go without saying that this is NOT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD EVER ACTUALLY DO IN REAL LIFE.

DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS.

I mean, I’m no lawyer, but firing an object at someone’s face with a strap that wraps around their head/neck sounds an awful lot like Assault and/or Battery. Especially with the number of ways that could go wrong. It’s a fun and cute build, it is not something for actual use...

So many people out there rightly deserve to be shot with one of these.

Sadly, the one who ended up getting shot would likely be whomever tried to use this in public....
