    This is actually an oddly fun-fact about The Little Mermaid. This is the first time that Jodi Benson is not entirely playing the part of Ariel. She’s done Ariel’s voice for every animated film, videogame, etc. since 1989. She’s apparently appearing in the special. That’s all. Continue being salty, Internet.

      I generally agree with Disney’s live action casting choices (Queen Latifah as Ursula is great, though a drag queen would’ve been beetter) it’s just....everything else about the production. But I’m glad they’re moving some of these to TV, they all have a TV feel to them, especially the Aladdin remake
