    TBH, I didn’t know about this brother until he was killed.  I feel like I (we) missed out on getting to know an amazing person.

    I admire the effort but long-term don’t see how gentrification and redevelopment can be stemmed. You get more people moving to big cities every day, and they are only going to live so far away before turning back into the city to find affordable housing. If a neighborhood is close to town, it’s almost certain to happen eventually.

    i think as time goes by we’ll see and hear more of what he had in the works for his community. he was a huge presence and his loss is still very much felt throughout the community. so many murals and art going up throughout the city. the people really loved him and this just goes to show why that was and still is.
