      This.

Imagine being able to “Nah, I’m good” just about any photo-op request, and you choose to do it with this ghoul.

Because they’re both ghouls. There is nothing in Tiger Woods history other then a few well produced nike commercials to ever believe that he ever cared one iota about anybody other then himself. He’s Earl Woods son and Earl Woods was a truly horrible person who passed on his disdain for “common folk” to his son

I knew this was coming, so I allowed myself to enjoy the Tiger comeback for only a day or two. You know, like a cheat meal.

Cheat meal like a luxurious steak and au gratin potato, or cheat meal like a dash to Taco Bell for a fuck-it chulupa? Because my feelings went towards the cheaper scale.

You see, in the ocean, trash floats.

It floats and floats along in the currents, lonely and trashy as can be.

Until eventually, it bumps into another piece of trash.

To feel less trashy, they band together and continue their floating.

As a larger, dirtier, piece of trash.

In the most recent Race Draft, who did we trade Tiger for?

Or did we just put him on the waiver wire?

I don’t have a problem with this. Joe Biden got this award, and he has accomplished nothing to deserve it. Why do people keep bringing up Tiger Woods and prostitutes, didn’t that happen 5-7 years ago?

Forty-four years as a public servant, eight of those years served as VP is not an accomplishment?  It’s more of an accomplishment than playing golf while cavorting with your jump-offs and hookers on the side. Just saying.

Certain behaviors are not forgivable. The man-whore behavior was awful but then to compound it by hanging around with Trump, not forgivable.

This is one thing Trump has done that that I don’t have a problem with. I mean Joe Biden was the Vice President and the President’s Bestie when he got the award... I mean the same thing when Obama gave Ellen the honor. Not a MAGA anything, but this isn’t news or scandalous at all.

Exactly! I can stand the false equivalencies some people come up with. Trump is rewarding a business partner with an award. He has a nasty habit of using his position as president for his financial gain.

Excuse my cynicism, but I don’t think being good at sports should be enough to win the highest level of civilian honor. You need to be an upstanding citizen, too. Now, it just so happens that many sports heroes are also amazing people who did amazing things for their communities and for their sports (e.g., Jackie Robinson, Serena Williams, Muhammad Ali).

But some sports stars are just good at sports but are otherwise flawed humans like the rest of us. Tiger Woods is in that latter category. I’m impressed by his stats as a golfer, but he is not role model material.

I’m more lenient when it comes to awarding these kinds of medals to scientists, teachers, community organizers, or other civilians working hard to improve the lives of people directly. They can have a few more flaws.

“If President Obama or Hillary Clinton had given the award to Tiger, no one would have batted an eye,” Devine said.

Riiight. The same people who nearly crapped themselves inside out when Barack invited Common to the White House would be just fine with this.
