      You are correct sir, criminal damage to exceeding $500 is going to get you a felony charge in most states, Georgia is no exception.

      He’s being charged with 2nd degree here, and it’s pretty verbatim as to what happened: Georgia law O.C.G.A. §16-7-23

      Intentionally damages any property of another person without his consent and the damage thereto exceeds $500.00

      iPhone’s are still expensive af, so I can’t argue that number.
