    I can’t imagine he’d show up for this. He doesn’t come off as someone so into himself he’d feel the need to be there when his name is put on something just to honor him. If it was, say, a youth center or something like that, with a greater meaning. Sure.

    And I’m just waiting to see the tweets from Trump downplaying, criticizing, or ridiculing this. Because you know he’ll want to.

      I think he will show, maybe not for long, but he just strikes me as the sort to say ‘fuck the optics, let me go shake some hands’ I think you are dead right about him normally not being the sort to do that sort of thing, but he’s damned ether way. Fox News and the right are going to howl regardless, so let them howl. It’s just going to boil down to some sort of dog whistle along the lines of ‘Look at this uppity negro, how -dare- he’
