    As for Ms. McCain can we be honest, if she wasn’t a member of the lucky Caucasian fertilized egg club, these would be her career options:

    1) Greeter at Wal Mart

    2) Host at AppleBees

    3) Substitute Teacher that is working on a self help book for ten years

    4) Barista at Starbucks that can’t get an order right, mispronounces your name and can’t work the register

    5) Day Stripper at Sapphire since she isn’t good enough for a night spot

    6) Amazon Phone Rep.

    The only reason The View is currently relevant is the twice-weekly “stupid shit Meghan McCain said” made-for-the-blogosphere outrage porn they produce. Don’t get me wrong, I realize they’re relevant to the retirees who leave the TV on all day, but to the rest of society, The View doesn’t exist, except when it shows up in this kind of context.

    I’m having a harder and harder time believing this shit isn’t staged. Not saying McCain isn’t a privileged dipshit of the highest order, not saying that she as a human being isn’t every bit as awful as she looks here. I’m just saying that at some point over the last couple of years, a producer or two had to realize, “hey, the only time we really get any attention is when the blonde moron says something that makes national news for being incredibly stupid, and Joy and/or Whoopi smacks her around for it. So... ok, raises for everybody if Queen Nepotism can say something infuriatingly ignorant and you all can get into petty catfight over it at least once a week.”
