This is what happens when white women vote to protect their whiteness. They were so sure they’d always have access and thought the alt right politicians wouldn’t go this far.

All.of.this. Which is the reason for my constant cry of “these bitches ain’t my ally!” Nothing “trumps” their allegiance to White supremacy. I wish people would stop blaming the “old guard” - both young and old voted that motherfucker in as an overt act of racism - restoring White Supremacy, and thus perpetual enslavement of Women and ethnic and religious minorities, and anyone who deviates from the so-called “norm.” They must dictate, control and restrict everyone but White “males” (I wish they were men) sexual and reproductive choices. Fuck Hillary Clinton for running and giving the electoral college an excuse to steal the election. Another example of a White woman who sacrificed others in pursuit of her agenda. Any female animal who supports the pussy-grabbing perverted coward is not worth her ovaries. But at least those hypocrites with “good insurance” and private family doctors will still have access to all the “therapeutic” procedures should they “need” them. Bless their itty bitty stupid racist hearts.

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that this isn’t precisely what many of them wanted, with Trumps racism an acceptable price for it.

That was always my issue with the anti-choice crowd: If a woman doesn’t want to abort then guess what - she’s free to not do it. There’s no roving gang of gynos with speculums roving the streets for pregnant women to do a D&C on. No doctor is going around dropping abortificants in women’s drinks for shits and giggles*. Considering all of the doctor visits and cost of healthcare in this country it’s more profitable to care for pregnant women and birth their babies to the OB/GYN side of the healthcare industry than it is to abort so the financial incentive to have mass aborting is just not there... why is it so much easier to shit on service providers who just don’t want to see women maimed or dead due to some DIY bullshit?

      * - there was a politician who did that shit to his mistress I believe...

How can they pass these laws when Roe vs Wade was not overturned?

Because it’s still legal, and they’ve “only” restricted it for the “safety” of whatever...plus, who will challenge them? And if the Supreme Court is leaning in an unfavorable direction, then what can you do?

Well, hit them in the pocket-book. Strike like mofos...it will, now, be a war of attrition and will be won by the side with the most stomach...this is what this country isfacing on many fronts. Worst part is they have a lot of shiny thing we want but don’t need...and temptation is the enemy.

We need to organize and strike not only directly at the organizations (GOP) that are doing harm, because many of those organizations are well fed by the money from other organizations (pick any fortune 500). Hurt the fortune 500 and you’ll start to see thing change...maintain the hurt and they’ll be ours.

This is no longer a spectator “sport” and armchair quarterbacking time. It’s time to do it.

      Remember Martin Niemöller

They don’t need to make abortion illegal. They simply have to make it a legal island surrounded by a massive moat of illegality and excessive expense. How, you ask? Simple:

      • Make it illegal to travel to an abortion clinic on public roads
      • Require physicians providing abortion services to have admitting privileges at all state hospitals
      • Require a fifteen month waiting period prior to getting an abortion
      • Require all abortion providers to have a fully equipped biomedical analysis and DNA testing lab on site and available and staffed 24/7

It’s by no means a comprehensive list, but you see how it can go. It wouldn’t take much legislative imagination to make Roe v. Wade moot.

I enjoy asking the hardcore Christians to look up historical uses for Myrrh. The 3 Wise Men showed up to Jesus’ birthday party with a pile of cash, a bottle of cologne, and some plan B.

    Watch these motherfuckers.

And watch this, but only on an empty stomach. In the refugee camps, HHS’s Scott Lloyd— even AFTER being ordered by the court last year to stop blocking the legal abortions of teen & preteen refugees— never stopped tracking the girls’ periods and pregnancies, so that they could delay their abortions until 20 weeks when abortion is no longer possible.

Rachel says Margaret Atwood should sue Scott Lloyd for copyright infringement.

Doesn’t matter. Making abortion illegal is a violation of the 13th amendment. And I quote, motherf***ing “Pro-life” blowhards:

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

So f*** you. You cannot tell a woman that she MUST bear the child without making her a slave to YOUR will which is the definition of slavery/involuntary servitude. And that, is a CRIME. Any law that passed in an attempt to bypass or ignore this IMMUTABLE TRUTH is unconstitutional. Period.

      It totally matters.

Short of the governed withdrawing their consent en masse, the Supreme Court decides what all of it means, even any Amendments passed to correct them.

If we let these radical regressives run further amok, we might find out that all women are born convicted of the sin of Eve, and forced pregnancy is the lest of their punishments.

Which is why McConnel and Trump are trying load the courts with their crony asshole conservative shitbirds, yes, I know. And if they want to institute this kind of law, they’re going to need an amendment or repealing of the 13th and 19th amendment. In either case, what they’re doing is patently unconstitutional and illegal.

I find it interesting (actually I don’t, but I needed a lead) how republicans never pass bills to restrict men’s reproductive rights or controls on their body. It is argued the Bible says wasting a mans  seed is a sin, so shouldn’t they be making it illegal to get snipped? Or masturbate? Lust is a deadly sin, and coveting is one of the Ten Commandments, so where are the laws making it illegal for men to get it on when their wives just gave birth?

In the meantime, let’s support our fellow women in Kentucky as best we can.

To volunteer lodging, travel support or time for women unable to bear the costs of having to travel cross-state to the one remaining clinic, see:

    https://cflfund.net/netcommunity/ky-reproductive-freedom-fund

And to make donations to help women in KY and across the country who need financial assistance to get an abortion:

Thank you for posting this. While we engage in the lunacy of fighting these endless court battles like a giant game of whack-a-mole over threats to our own autonomy, there are women who need our help *now*.  We owe it to our fellow sisters and human beings not to be overcome by resentment and spite at the aggregate ignorance and intense coercion heaped upon women in deep red states, and remember that they didn’t choose where *they* were born and raised, when individuals are in need of help.
