      What we already knew, they’re hypocrites.

      The twelve are hypocrites too, but they decided to try out the idea of sticking to their ‘core values’ for a change. They didn’t do it with the tax cuts, since they knew it was a deficit enlarger, but their core value has always been ‘less taxes’.

      We also know every one of them would have voted for this piece of legislation if Obama had signed the emergency order.

      Oh, and keep in mind that none of those 12 senators are up for re-election come 2020. No, wait, I think the post said two were. One is retiring (lamar “I’ve ruined the country enough, time to drop the mike” Alexander). I don’t remember the deal on the other one.

    I only skimmed this story because I’m at the same level of exhaustion as Trump’s mother. She solved this problem by shipping his fat ass off to military school. I wish that I could do the same.

    Will enough Republicans grow spines and defend their co-equal branch of government against the onslaught of the lazy corrupt racist orange santorum-covered enemy of the people, and vote to override this veto?

    Probably not.

    Republicans, show me that I’m wrong. Grow spines. Do the right thing. Do the moral thing. Don’t be evil. Overturn this veto!
