This, this, this. It ain’t even about her, it’s about them. It shows the absolute moral depravity and intellectual bankruptcy of their “movement.”

What gets me the most is how petty this all is. White Supremacy is petty by nature, but this whole trolling aspect of it—this is the reason why 49 people had to die?

And there’s no reason to read that manifesto because it’s all bullshit. The shooters aren’t some psychotic monsters, or some type of variant of The Joker who does things for “the lulz,” these are sad, pathetic children who are weaponizing their misery against anyone they deem to be the cause of their failures.
That chorus of voices affirms the fears of many white people: that the world has turned too brown, too black, too Muslim, too queer, too femme, too many names you can’t pronounce, too sensitive, too “P.C.” (which just means that you’re hearing the voices of people you’ve historically offended too damn much). They’re the choir that sings the songs racists and nationalists and aspiring terrorists want to hear, only to turn around and rake in speaking fees and TV time; only to cackle over the spikes of engagement and followers that trail every dumb provocation they’ve engineered—because that is the emotional currency that puts real coin in their pockets.
Fucking this. No different than the Proud Boys, or Jordan Petersons nonsense.

I remember when Scream 4 came out in 2011 we in the gestation stages of what Ms. Brangin called “the attention economy.” In other words fame and clicks at the expense of doing nothing to earn the attention other than saying something outrageous or profiting off of misfortune and turning that into a career as a blogger or something else. As Scream 4 noted Sydney Prescott became a famous author and media celebrity based on a personal tragedy & built a career off of that, her cousin wanted the same thing but she was willing to fake a tragedy rather than have actual misfortune fall her way. This thinking is essentially what drives the “attention economy.” From The Kardashians, Ann Coulter, Bill Maher, Candace Owens, Dana Loesch and yes the mother fucking president (lower case intentional) they get their fame and energy from saying and doing the ugliest shit possible. The part that is sickening is that they then claim no responsibility for what they leave in their wake. Yes you should say their names and then call them out for the shameless whores they are.
