    when 53 percent of white women vote against their self interest...

    This needs to be shouted from every rooftop for all time.

    Remember whenever anyone says something about minorities not being excited by a candidate, or somehow being at fault for not backing “x” or “y”.

    53% of white women voters voted for a serial abuser, and a known liar and utter moron... It’s inconceivable how anyone could have voted for Trump, it was in 2016, and it still is now.

      Be careful when shouting this, a segment of them will attempt a lame ass clap back to the tune of “not this college educated white woman who doesn’t see color.” Maybe not you but enough of you didn’t give a fuck about anyone other than your flat asses so please spare me and others. Oh you wanna help? Go slap the shit out of the 53% that did this shake some fucking sense into them once and for all.

    DJT has to push for the wall, or his supporters (who, while I’ve actually only met a couple of, seem to represent his larger base) will turn on him. They really do want ‘the wall’. There is no logic to unpack there, that’s just what they believe. They’ve listened to DJT and Fox long enough that the wall is reason enough that they want the wall.

    I think as long as he can say he pushed for ‘the wall’, and was unfairly blocked by Democrats and even some Republicans, his peeps will be mostly ok with it. :|

      No... no they won’t. They aren’t in it for the wall. IT’s about hate, and having someone justify and mirror that hate they have for others and themselves.

      He could reverse course today and say he never supported a wall... and his party would still be with him. His poll numbers will never dip below 37-40%. Those people are ideologically and fundamentally locked in to his presidency period.

      This same behavior is seen in cults all the time. Remember Jonestown? Remember Waco?

      Those following Trump have found their leader, and they will not abandon him until he starts actually killing them, and even then, some will reason that he’s right to kill them to make america great again.

      The psychosis is deep, and it isn’t going anywhere.

      Your insightful comment is basically the Cliff Notes to Eric Hoffer’s 1951 book, The True Believer: Thoughts On The Nature Of Mass Movements. I recently re-read the book and it scared me.

    According to today’s 3/15 edition of the Washington Post, “Trump loses GOP fight over border emergency declaration”. This reminds me of this: “Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall; All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again”.
