seems like it. Old White Guy Sanders will take most of the progressive Old White Guy Biden will take the Old Guard and whoever wins will get Old White Guy Trump.

So in the end we will end up with some type of old White guy.

There are more than a couple Democratic candidates who are capable, I would say are likely to, tear both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders a new asshole.

Both are used to being essentially unchallenged in public, I’m willing to guarantee both are in for a rude awakening as to what 2020 is going to be.

Castro already went after Old Man River for his dumb comments about Reparations. The bros are a little salty over it:

I see we’re engaging in The Daily Ageism.

Like it or not, Joe Biden could probably beat Trump pretty easily.

Its not ageism to want a candidate that isn’t in their 70s. Its a scientific fact that cognitive abilities begin to decline in older people, and its almost a 100% guarantee that this decline has already started to happen to anyone over age 70. The presidency is a physically and mentally demanding job, and the person doing that job should be up to it.

Also, we don’t need another senile Reagan, inviting his personal fortune teller to the White House and trying to push his Star Wars defense system. We don’t need another delusional, out of touch, AND senile guy like Trump. And we don’t need Biden, who is a walking gaffe machine, has been on the wrong side of race issues, and has publicly called both Trump and Pence good men. Not to mention the other issues with Biden brought up in this article. Its clear that his politics haven’t evolved with the party. He may follow the party platform, but he’s not a progressive. He’s had a window of over 30 years where he’s tried to run for president. Its time to close that window.

Easily? That’s optimistic. I think Bernie has a much higher chance than Biden, but both of them are dreadful. I think this is the year we can get a really exciting candidate and need a really genuine candidate.

He already was. That’s done. His career in elected politics is DONE. Let it die in dignity, already.  No to Joe as president, not to Joe as Vice President...again.

You are not wrong, but whoever wins the Dem primary gets my vote and when that person is chosen, all these other motherfuckers better fall back and not Stein it.

That’s the problem. “Fall Back” essentially means, NO VOTE. Proven fun fact: when turnout is high in an election year, Democratic Party pulls out major wins all the way down the ballot. Staying home is just as bad. In fact, it’s worse for every other race. Do you really want a Dem prez with a GOP Congress?

I just meant that the other Dem candidates should  throw their support behind the primary winner and not divide the progressive voter base by either running as an independent or supporting another indepedent.

There are sooo many bullet points on the Things White Folks Need to Ponder in Silence Awhile, but at some point I hope they get around to considering why Barack chose Biden, specifically, in the first place.

Biden has been running for president since 1988; he’s basically been running for president since I’ve been alive. God give me the hubris of a mediocre white man...
