    What the LA Times somehow failed to report on, and whats locally known, is that the police have in custody the mothers alleged boyfriend, Emiel Hunt with a $2 million bail. He was arrested on Saturday, though its still not clear if he was arrested related to her murder. They also have detained 2 other people of interest.

      So was she in her mother’s custody? Was she reported missing and the cops did not check (maybe a LAPD/Sheriff thing)? Did the dad think she was with mom and vice versa? This is the thing that keeps bugging me about this case, because it was about a week before she was identified, and I would think that the first thing to do would be to check missing person’s reports. I am confused.
