  It may be a hot take, but it’s certainly not the hottest. Yes, it is probably stupid to go visit NK and think everything will be alright, I’m sure Otto understood there was a risk.... HOWEVER, that does not excuse the sitting POTUS to say “Hey, I believe this human rights violator that he didn’t know”.

  I don’t applaud his torture and death, but he did deliberately travel there. Also, I feel like a lot of the same people who decry Otto Wambier’s treatment at the hands of his jailers are all too happy to see American (minorities) mistreated and killed by police.

Are we to really believe that a North Korean soldier acted on his own and killed this guy?   Here is a really bad run down:
  The kid, despite being so goddamned Wypipo he could hide in a paper mill, went to North Korea for, I dunno ‘teh lulz’? Therein, he proceeded to White People all over shit and get caught and was caught off guard by there being actual consequences for his dumb shit.
  The DPRK, being run by breathtakingly shitty people, proceeded to over-react in the most horrific way possible and tortured the kid into a coma.
  On his release and eventual passing, the kids’s wypipoparents blamed the only black guy they knew of, Obama.
  Trump, understanding that there is no way for him to live up to Obama’s actual record, used the parents to piss at Obama some more in 2017.
  Fast forward to this week, and Trump, who has the mental capacity of a Goldfish goes all “new phone, who dis?” on his Obama hating playmates so that he can keep getting googly eyes from his Bae-ctator for Life, Kim Jong ‘the Un That I Want’.
  Ensue terrible people being outraged that the terrible asshole they sucked up to continues to be terrible.
