    Let me tell you how I know this is about to be good: your little “president” was good and shook and already tweeting about it from all the way across the world.

    Before Trump’s defense team shows up in the greys frothing at the mouth, I know he is in Asia, which means there is a large time difference and bla bla bla.

    The point is that while he has more important things he should be focused on, he is spending his time trying to spin the inevitable. As we knew he would.

    I’ve got everything covered. I have popcorn, a gallon of water, chocolate and eye drops because sometimes watching too much whiteness makes me sleepy. We already know that Cohen is going to sing like Marian Anderson on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. We are literally watching rats eat themselves after they’ve run out of Russian snacks.

    Rep. Jim Jordan Is Annoyed That This Is Happening

    It’s kind of funny how the Republicans keep trying to get their digs in about this testimony. Now Jordan, a rep from Ohio, is pontificating on how this is all an attempt to make the president look bad.

    Sorry, Jim Jordan—your little “president” does a good enough job of making himself look bad.

    Come through news stations! Michael Cohen just got “shitholes” on national news because he’s quoting the president whom he claims asked him if he could name any country run by a black person that wasn’t a shithole.

    From Cohen’s opening statement:

    Mr. Trump is a racist. The country has seen Mr. Trump court white supremacists and bigots. You have heard him call poorer countries “shitholes.”

    In private, he is even worse. He once asked me if I could name a country run by a black person that wasn’t a “shithole.” This was when Barack Obama was President of the United States.

    While we were once driving through a struggling neighborhood in Chicago, he commented that only black people could live that way.

    And, he told me that black people would never vote for him because they were too stupid.

    Rep. Jim Jordan is going ham. He’s reminding everyone that Cohen is going to jail in three months. Jordan wants everyone to know that since Dems took over the House, the first person they’ve called is a man who has already lied to Congress. It’s like Jordan is auditioning for South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham’s position Trump’s lap dog.

    North Carolina Republican Mark Meadows is already turning red-faced and this damn thing hasn’t even started. He’s all mad that he didn’t have Cohen’s testimony 24-hours before the hearing. Now there has been a series of votes and Cohen is looking as lost as he has since he was arrested. This is amazing!

    I don’t know what the hell I’m watching. Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) drudged out Lynne Patton, a black woman, earlier in the proceedings to show that Trump does like black people because here’s one black woman who can speak to what a kind and caring massa employer he’s been during her time in the big house. Several members took issue with the move. Rep Rashida Talib (D-Mi.) said that the move was racist.

    Well, hold on a goddamn minute. Did someone of color call a white man’s actions racist?! Not on Mark Meadows watch! Meadows sprung into action calling his nieces and nephews, who apparently have some color in their genealogy, to explain that he wouldn’t be called racist! Not on his watch. Not, today.

    Talib apologized and Meadows felt like he’d grandstanded (grandstood?) enough and calmed the fuck down.

    Cohen just confirmed what we all have already known, but I guess has never been officially said on record—y’all little “president” is “individual No. 1" in all those legal documents from the Mueller investigation.

    Republican Rep Tries to Stop the Testimony From Happening

    As soon as Elijah Cummings hit his gavel, the Republicans tried to stop the testimony from happening.

    Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) moved to postpone the hearing, but he got voted down. Pandemonium broke out briefly as other reps tried to jump in and prevent the hearing from moving forward.

    And this is how you know the Republicans will stop at nothing to try and protect their president and enable his bullshit.

    Ultimately, they lost all their votes to try and stop it, and Elijah Cummings called them out for trying to keep the American people from hearing what Cohen was to say.

    I think now is a nice time to remind readers that it is now, and will forever be, fuck Michael Cohen. He’s not earned his way to the cookout just because he’s snitching after being caught. Michael Cohen was not only Trump’s hitman but he once vowed to take a bullet for the president. He strong-armed people who went against the president and threatened lawsuits against those who didn’t bend to his will.

    So yeah, he’s snitching now and that’s good, but fuck Michael Cohen, now and for evahhhhh (Cardi B voice).
