      Ask your prescribing physician, they should be familiar with your medication interactions. If not, speak to the psychiatrist or the pharmacologist providing.

    Our microbiomes are very delicate, and highly underrated.

    I have a theory that not too long into the future, research will help us find the strains of gut bacteria, as well as those that stick to our skin and outer layers, that are the most helpful in warding off hostile invaders as well as supporting the healthy function of the body.

    I can’t wait to go to a spa where they meticulously scrub your body free of the bad bugs, and then gently inoculate you with healthy germs and mites, etc. The process for flushing the gut and then reseeding with the best microbes possible will be a little bit less relaxing, but certainly no less important to the healthy and happy function of the individual.

    I assert that the cost of performing these therapies will be more than offset by the cost reduction in dealing with further health complications down the road.

    This study only covered mental disorders that lead to treatment, I wonder how much other mental disorders may be correlated to antibiotic use? For example, the global suicide rate has been increasing for decades according to the World Health Organization. There are a LOT of factors at work there, but I wonder if antibiotics may be contributing to increased rates of depression.
