The door lock records probably sunk her. It’ll show Jean’s door was locked until he opened it from the inside and she never inserted her key in the door. Her whole ass story is bullshit. She came home drunk from work, decided to go confront the neighbor upstairs about the noise complaints, saw a black face and her racist instincts kicked in.

The next question is how her defense will keep black people off the jury. I’m sure they’ll claim she can’t get a fair trial in Dallas and try to move it to a white suburb.

I recognize that this could come across as an attack on her looks, but that face has had a bit of meth go into its orifices.

Her whole family got that meth look. There’s something especially creepy about the Mom.

Color of Change and the new D.A. get the first congratulations.

Back here in TrumpMeriKKKa, though — she was indicted for murder instead of manslaughter or criminally negligent homicide because she’s a woman. If she was a white man instead, I’m going to wager the grand jury would’ve refused to indict, evidence notwithstanding (because implicit bias, that’s why).

Is there any citizens’ way to make sure she and what I’m sure will be a formidable defense team don’t pull a Betty Shelby?

Court documents indicate that she was indicted for both Murder and Manslaughter charges. The Murder charge will be more difficult to convict on because “Murder” requires not only intent, but premeditation. That doesn’t seem to be the case here (Unless there’s evidence I don’t know about, which is quite possible.)

Apparently the prosecution is moving forward on the murder charge, which I find interesting.

Yes Doug, I do think that it’s quite possible there is evidence that you, from your couch, might not know about.

I also have advanced degrees from Law & Order U, and even I do not have this... ‘confidence’ to state that a cold blooded murder with little in depth reporting, ‘doesn’t seem to show premeditation.’

Home invader who shot legal resident in his own home for not doing what she ordered him, finally indicted for murder.

It is a crime in itself that she wasn’t in the first place.

All along, it’s been obvious there was far more to this case than the bullshit story her lawyers pushed out.

Reminder that murder laws in Texas are weird. There’s no degrees, just murder and capital murder. “Murder” is simply the intentional killing of another human being without any aggravating factors that would raise it to capital murder.

Most states only have two classifications, whether it’s called capital murder and murder or 1st degree and 2nd degree murder doesn’t really change.

But 2nd degree murder elsewhere is usually reckless homicide, in Texas that’s manslaughter. All murder charges in Texas require intent.

Was she indicted for murder or manslaughter? CNN alert said manslaughter. I’m confused.

The original charge was manslaughter, but the grand jury returned a murder indictment. So they saw through the bullshit.

And still, months after this happened, the only information given to the public about this case is the fact the guy had weed in his apartment. How stunning.
