    I’m more upset with anybody who went back on their word. If anybody said they oppose Nancy pelosi in favor of a paradigm that spotlights and increases a new younger approach with fresh ideas....and then withdrew their pledge, I got a major problem with you. You’re untrustworthy and a punk politician.

    As for Nancy Pelosi I’ve said I have mixed feelings. She responsible for some great things and dialogue and legislation but also she’s representative of old order and I don’t feel comfortable she’s ready or willing to get us into the future or even represent properly.

      None of the new folks were eligible. You have to have a certain amount of tenure to qualify. That said, I think it should have been Barbara Lee. :-(

    Pelosi is the only one who has the power, money and location of all the bodies to really get things done.New blood would be great but we can’t afford the time to break on a new Speaker with this current administration.

    Tbh, I think she’d call the cops on me if I drove through her neighborhood too slow.

      Yes because Pelosi being the only one who has the power, money and location of all the bodies has worked out so well for America the past 6 years. The only one that it has actually worked out for is Pelosi and her checking account.

      How anyone is cool with her, Amy’s Cousin Chuck Schumer (This is your strategy? Que? This dude is a trip with no luggage) and Old Testament Elijah Cummings remaining in top positions is beyond me (and this has nothing to do with age, I would much rather see Barbara Lee the Speaker than anyone and she’s 72). These people have done little (I don’t care if they didn’t have the numbers, being silent isn’t a good look, either. Hell, the Parkland kids have even less power and they’ve done more than the Dems over the past year) and y’all want me to believe that they’re our best hope, now?

      And she would definitely call the cops on you

    BTW, fuck the whiners. +40 in gerrymandered-to-hell stats, minimal turnover on a terrible Senate map, popular vote record bigger than the 2010 Red Wave, whilst Trump ran the most racist midterm campaign we’ve seen in decades + demonizing her for years on end. How’d that work out for your, GOP?

    Cortez and some of the other newbies supported her bid to lead again. No one who opposed her had the brass to actually run against her themselves, they just tossed out random names of people who didn’t even want the position themselves. The opposition should have come correct and offered a real alternative.

    Pelosi is over 70? Never would have guessed.

    Her biggest opponent was Marcia Fudge. I am glad she won.

    She’s milquetoast, she’s a professional hobnobber, and she’s not particularly invested in Democratic wins that aren’t hers but no one better stepped up.
