    Oh, wow, do I really have to school you about randomness. Picking random numbers will, often times, result in some numbers being chosen more while others might not be chosen at all. This is also why, when you play a random playlist on your music player, certain songs seem to play ‘all the time’ and others not so much.

    So, it’s just so happening that Eric Reid’s number ‘happens’ to be that special number that gets caught all the time.

    Or, their random selection goes like this:

    - Number each player 1 - 58. Make Eric Reid #58.

    - Pick a set of three numbers randomly from 1 to 1000000.

    - If any of the numbers in the set is over the total number of players, just choose the last player.

    There you go. Completely random.

    Hey, stop dissing Mark Sanchez! Sure he had one famous play. But let’s not canonize Kapernick. It’s not like he took his team to the super bowl or anything. What? He did? OK, but he’s last season in the league, he had an average year for a quarterback. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT! AVERAGE! And you think he should be on a team over Mark Sanchez? Or Doug Pederman? Or Derek Anderson? Ha! Those guys are professional quarterbacks!

    I hear the Raiders are looking to bring in Jim Plunkett!
