  I’m rating this at 5% chance of being true and 95% of being a fabrication. The combination is a tough one to believe - that there were so many children affected that it was a cost problem for the county and that no one noticed a huge number of children records with exactly 3.5 filled in.
  A typical use for these numbers would be to make a graph - a simple histogram of results, and doing that would produce a huge spike or a cliff that could be seen from the space station. Maybe they just feed the data into a shredder, but it should take about 10 minutes to review the data and see if that spike exists.
  It is also curious that she didn’t just send an anonymous letter to the school doing the lead testing, the state medical board, or the local TV station. Any of those could be done, particularly after being fired, there would be no comparable retribution vs apparently letting a bunch of children go untreated and waiting several years to act on it.
  It is not easy to fake relatively random data without making a sophisticated effort. To do so they would have to generate a sheet of suitable replacement numbers that could not be all the same. Since she does not mention such a sheet either there was no sophisticated effort or, more likely, no effort at all.
  But, to keep that 5% alive - let’s get the blood test result data and see what it actually says.

In the film, Moore explains that Cook-Hawkins asked to do this in order to help “cover up what the state was really up to” in Flint. Her boss told her to report every instance of elevated lead in blood as being 3.5 micrograms per deciliter—which is a threshold for exposure—even if the tests indicated lead exposure was higher than that.
Yea, that’s all I have.
When you see this sort of government-sanctioned genocide, I want to point to white allies and say “See exhibt 498 as to why there’s such distrust”.
I’m sad that on God’s green earth we have everything we need to sustain ourselves but use it to harm and profit off of each other. I’m sad an entire generation will be crippled by this issue. And even sadder is that under the Trump administration any progress could get completely halted and/or diminished ‘cause Trump.
