What P-Dub has to worry about isthe tens of millions he stole from Deripaska and the other oligarchs. If he’s gonna cooperate, it’s because the feds have agreed to protect him from polonium and nerve agents.

Told my co-workers that months ago. Paulie’s about to become a busty blonde cougar. And Don Jr’s about to get a visit. Hope he doesn’t think 45's going to take a hit for him, “Donald...Trump...Jr., no; the name doesn’t sound familiar.”

Anyway, the assumption is that he is cooperating.  We’ll have to wait and see, but the assumption is that he has cooperated.

Walnuts is going to ride this thing out in hopes that the president uses his pardoning power to free him from the pokey.

This is a got-damn guarantee. he should have just copped it earlier. It would get him to the pardon quicker. Now.....what’s up the lovely state of NY bringing up them charges that the President Twat for Brains can’t pardon him for?

They’ve been very open that they’re just waiting for him to plead so they can pardon.

I give it until Sunday 4 a.m. before Trump tweets that manafort is innocent and has been blackmailed into pleading guilty

There’s an obscure phrase in the U.S. Constitution that periodically nags me in the back of my mind:

“...[H]e shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.” (emphasis mine)

Now, my reading of this is that the President cannot pardon someone who has been impeached and removed from office. So, for example, if Judge Kavanaugh were to be impeached and removed from the bench by Congress for lying under oath, the racist orange santorum-covered enemy of the people could not pardon Kavanaugh.

But, wouldn’t it be fun if it meant that the President could not pardon someone *while he is being impeached*? If that reading were correct, then the Frothy One could not pardon himself out of his impeachment.

Oh, no, the people who live their lives pouring over the federalist papers as if they were the constitution would tell you what the constitution really means, and it isn’t that.

BTW, the constitution was negotiated and written and agreed upon (begrudgingly by most, since getting, what, 56 white people to agree wholeheartedly on anything that isn’t about the glories of mayonnaise is hard), the federalist papers were written by just three of these folks. And they were written in efforts to sell the constitution to the public. They should never be used to determine how the constitution should be interpreted, because they were never agreed on.

But you know those folks on the right, they love themselves some constitutional originality, as long as it meets their own belief of what the constitution means.

I never got the thing with the mayonnaise. I always kind of thought of it is liquid fat.

Though I do have a spicy Chipotle mayo I bust out for some sandwiches.

One of the letters in evidence shows that Manafort actually used the term Bada bing bada boom in an email.

The move is a shocker because Manafort was considered to be a Trump loyalist

I am certain of very few things in this world, but I know for goddamn certain that Manafort is only loyal to Manafort. For $1000 bucks he would shit on Trumps face while he slept. For $2000 he would do the same to his wife.

One of those guilty charges is conspiracy against the US. So is that a treason charge?
