I try not to let things these Vampire do bother me personally but this “artwork” - and the many, many assholes defending it - really bothers me. This is racism in it’s rawest, ugliest form.

  I feel exactly the same way. I usually make a note of these things and keep it moving. I don’t let these demons get my pressure up. But, this whole incident and especially this cartoon and the damn lying denials (because i believe Michael is giving them to much credit-they know it’s racist and take a particular evil glee in denying it and gas lighting us) have really gotten to me.

THISSSSSSS! Seriously the analysis doesn’t even have to go further because of this blatant ridiculousness. How is this even supposed to be about the U.S. Open when so clearly it doesn’t even show Naomi as the opponent because lets be for real he didn’t even see or care abouT Naomi and didn’t draw her. This was all about showing a racist caricature of Serena. A very bad and obvious one. And this supports what I’ve been saying the whole time, these so called supporters and people who care about Naomi only care because they hate Serena’s Blackness. They desperately cling to her being “Japanese” despite her repeatedly talking about being Haitian, having a Haitian father, growing up in a Haitian household and living in Florida. Also her unabashed love and admiration for Serena as a role model which has everything to do with her being a Black girl that sees herself through Serena. Time will tell though. The second Naomi starts winning against every white girl on these courts they will be putting her Haitian heritage at the forefront and making racist cartoons about her too.

I had a whole conversation last year about the kneeling football players with a coworker who was very rah-rah about Trump, guns, the military, and all that other mess.
He was blissfully unaware of the sort of statistics featured in this article. He’s the type that believes all cops are good people and America has transcended racism. I began running off some of the stuff above and he was completely taken aback by the information. It definitely hasn’t changed his mind, but he might maybe just understand that the kneeling isn’t 100% about the military.
