They gave her all weekend to cook up this story. Friday multiple witnesses were saying she was heard pounding on the door to open up and her keys were still in the front door lock after they wheeled Jean out.

I’ve been wondering why we’re suddenly not hearing about those witnesses any longer.

I knew I had read at least one (but I thought multiple) witness state she was yelling (at “her” empty apartment) to open the door and those statements really don’t fit this new narrative.

She parked on the wrong level and didn’t notice she was on the wrong floor and upon entering the wrong apartment.....

Stop right there. If she missed that many clues as to her whereabouts and was obviously so unaware of her surroundings, SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A COP. Sounds like she needs a GPS just to get to kitchen every morning. Amazing that they think people will fall for this BS story. They had all weekend and that was the best they could come up with?!?! Forgetting where you parked, sure but forgetting where you live?  Yeah, right...

Not only is she a cop but she was on the “elite” task force.

Who goes to their apartment parking, a drive you make hundreds of times a year, and park in a spot that isn’t the spot you park in or near at every single goddamn time? That toxicology on this chick is going to be a pharmacist’s cookbook or a sweet cover up.

Mohammed Noor is facing murder charges for shooting an unarmed white woman that startled him while responding to a call.  A mistake by a police officer their very dangerous job--- but that mistake killed a white woman so he shouldn’t have been that reckless.  Yeah, same here.

I live here in Minneapolis and they are trying to hang this cop. He should be accountable for this woman’s murder, but he will pay for ALL the wrongful murders the white cops were excused from accountability. And there are a lot of them, from Philando Castile to one brother killed about a month ago who was a barber well love in the community. It’s all bout our race and their prejudices and hatred of us. Real talk.

The cops who wind up actually being held accountable for excessive use of force mostly have one thing in common: they “fucked up” by leaving their victims alive to tell their sides of the story.

I get the feeling if Jean had survived, he’d be looking at charges and would end up in jail... for not complying, etc...

Quite possible, but the lawsuit he would’ve been able to file could’ve eventually exonerated him. Being alive as a witness to the miscarriage of justice against you has benefits.

If Botham Jean had shot and killed Guyger he’d have been charged with murdering a police officer.

That’s because he would have murdered a police officer.

Uh no, castle doctrine would apply. He would’ve killed a home invader.

and her first instinct was to shoot them, with deadly accuracy, in the chest in a dark apartment without knowing who it was she was pointing her gun at.

This is the nature of whats wrong with police training. They are trained pretty much to shoot to kill. But they spin it as stopping someone by aiming at their center of mass. It shoot to kill and how that is training for a force that is supposed to protect and serve is beyond me. Its to the point that their instinct is automatically “either kill or be killed”. Had that not have been so ingrained in them, Botham Jean and so many other Black men would be alive today.

What caught my attention was that she was so tired that she went to the wrong apartment but was able to put a bullet into the chest of a black man sitting in a dark room with no problem. Thats some training. I just wish their training ingrained in them that shooting someone is the last option after everything else has been exhausted.

You can still shoot someone even if your eyes are closed. They make a noise and you shoot in the direction it came from. The lighting of the room doesn’t affect either hearing or the bullet.

They are trying to taint the jury pool. The anonymous source needs to be outed and charged with obstructing.  Her ass was either high or very very drunk. But notice how they didn’t get her B.A.C. immediatly.  Yep they are trying to cover for her.

She couldn’t see well enough to know that none of the furniture was hers but could see well enough to shoot a moving man dead. White cop logic.
