POC get the police called on them for smoking in the complex’s garage, using the pool with a key card, and now shot and killed in your own apartment minding your own damn business.

How in the hell can it only be manslaughter when you enter someone else home and kill them?

And I call bullshit on suddenly deciding this is not a “police incident” when it is convenient for the police to distance themselves. She murdered him with her service weapon. He was killed with a police service weapon as the murder weapon - yes murder and I am going to keep calling it murder.

Killed by a cop with a service weapon makes this a police “incident” and murder by cop.

Can you imagine a judge is like “You need to charge this person with murder.” and the police are like “Nah.”

Maybe they can give Jeans apartment to a cop and then the problem can solve itself.

Kind of wondering if the Policeman’s Benevolent Fund posted bail.

“I’m embarrassed that it came from a City Council person,” Rawlings said.“And I want to set the record straight.”

So set the record straight. What good fucking reason was there to wait 3 gotdamb days before arresting her.

    • Was it to allow any drugs/alcohol to clear her system?
    • Was it to give her a chance to get her story straight?
    • Was it to give her a chance to clean up her and her family members’ social media?
    • Was it to get her financials in order to post bail?

If any one of us walked into a neighbor’s home and killed them, we’d be arrested first, questioned later. What’s the story here?

It’s gotta be time to let drugs/alcohol pass through her system, right? Like a 15 hour shift is actually a 12 hour shift + 3 hours at the bar...

They are trying their best to cover this up but Botham doesn’t have any past they can use to “he’s no angel” him. If 99 percent of cops are good then they should be demanding that their union stop protecting this murderer. They wont though because good cops don’t exist.

They’ll come up with something if they have to go all the way back to St. Lucia to do it.

This is a story we need to watch very closely to see how they try to get her off; Their favorite dog whistle of “Black man with a criminal record “ is unavailable because this young man was a college graduate working at a major consulting firm. If or when this case goes to trial I expect them to use their other favorite whistle “I feared for my life” as absurd as that sound given the fact he was in his own apartment!

AP just tweeted that “she issued verbal commands” prior to shooting him...so its already starting.

Again - If I go to the wrong house and start yelling at the residents to do stuff and then shoot them, that’s a series of property crimes and murder and I would be arrested instantly instead of being given 3 days to de-tox and get my story straight.

More like barked orders at him demanding that he “OPEN THE GD DOOR!”.... they are trying to get rid of that part, along with the pictures of him standing with her and two other friends.

The degree to which the authorities are spinning their wheels over this case is really a reflection of how it represents the absolute worst-case police shooting:

-The officer was off-duty, had no right to be where she was, was there by mistake, and could not reasonably have believed she had any right to open fire.

-The victim was minding his own business in his own home, and there’s no evidence whatsoever he did anything threatening.

-The victim has an unimpeachable character: No record, devout Christian, widely loved, college graduate professional with a good job.

-It’s looking more and more as if the officer was under the influence of something: Her blood was drawn right after the incident, and there’s been no word on the results - had she been clean, you can bet that information would have been leaked somehow.

The usual playbook of the All Lives Matter crowd so far has no guidance for a situation like this, but it seems as if they haven’t quit looking for some way out.

Something I didn’t question too much until now that the video is out is chest compressions. The difference between life and death in most cases is chest compressions. The paramedics were doing it. When you shoot someone as an officer, you are supposed to render aid. Pressure on the wound, chest compressions to keep the brain alive if there is no breathing.
He not only died because she shot him, but then did not attempt to keep him alive.

Let’s say I buy that this whole thing was a enormous, tragic mistake (which I don’t), I don’t put it past any cop to cover their ass when shit hits the fan.  If that means letting an someone die so be it.  As soon as a cop shoots you, it’s better for them if you die so that they can set the narrative.

That’s what the other white lady and her cop buddies did. They stood there and watched him die waiting for medics to arrive even though one of them had certification in advanced life support.

What I have gathered so far is: She parked her car on the wrong level, walked down the hall to the wrong apartment, did not notice his red rug in front of the door. Put her key into the unlocked door and opened the door into a dark room. Saw him standing there and shot him. Turned on the lights and discovered he was black and she had entered the wrong apartment and called 911. This wraps up everything into a nice neat package and answers all the questions. ALLWAYS  keep your lies simple, they will be easier to remember when questioned. She will get probation.
