Not if you say it in Cameron Frye’s voice.

I can’t wait for the book or the miniseries that gives the Mueller team’s perspective on all of this. This shit is wild.

I personally believe that the perfect “cherry on top” for the past week’s actions would be if Melania served Donald with divorce papers Saturday evening...and let Donnie know that she has Michael Avenatti as her lawyer.

If that happened, I might literally die from schadenfreude.

Let’s all hope we can put me to the test.

Better hope they find something to impeach Pence first. Trump is evil, but corrupt and incompetent in his evil. Pence is evil and competent. I’d rather have Trump than Pence as president. Pence first, Trump afterwards.

Pence isn’t that competent. And he’s already influencing policy.

Also, if Trump is impeached, that would mean there were Democrats in control of both houses of Congress, or at least the house and a large portion of the Senate. Which would mean Pence would likely be held in check legislatively and bogged down in investigations.

Pence was Manafort’s pick of the VP litter. Want to guess how dirty a holy roller like him can be?

In related news, I heard a lawyer on MSNBC yesterday say that pardoning someone like Manafort hurts Trump just as much as him testifying with immunity. Apparently once a person is pardoned, they lose their fifth amendment rights (related to the crimes they were pardoned for), and Congress can compel people to testify and answer any and all questions regarding the specific crime(s). They cannot be prosecuted for the old crime (that’s double jeopardy), but they are still at risk of perjury and contempt. Our law is kind of beautiful that way.

Plus Manafort is on the hook for many state crimes.  He got 10 charges mistrial he can get charged for those again plus worst of all he owes large amounts of money to Russians associated with Putin.  He’s better off in prison where his chances of “accidentally” drinking a polonium milkshake, “accidentally” being stabbed 26 times while trying to filet a fish, or having a hot tub fall on him are drastically reduced.

Oh man... they are building that Guillotine. I just hope that Weisselberg decides to dump info unrelated to the hush money, but related to the other shady shit TrumpO has been doing. Remember, his children are(?were?) all employees of TrumpO at one point or another. This could be the cruelest cut of all.

I wonder if Weisselberg flipped because Cohen has something on him or if all these guys are realizing Trump won’t save them and they need to get out from under before Mueller comes after them personally.

For some reason I initially read the headline as “Trump Granted Immunity...” I don’t know why I did. Or how it would have even been legally possible. But my stomach seriously caught a knot for a quick ass moment, until I reread the headline.

I’ve been offline and without phone and internet access for a a few hours. And I was thinking to myself “What in the FUCK happened, and how in the HELL is this shit even possible?!?

ETA: I was just wondering. How many of y’all actually think his campaign would have been effected if he never paid these women off. And instead came out with some kinda generic apology about the affairs? I definitely think his base would not give two shits, and voted for him anyway.

I agree with you - if anything, his base would have liked him more for it because it feeds into their warped idea of what masculinity looks like that he’s some alpha banging all of these playmates and porn stars even though that couldn’t be farther from actual reality

No. The stupid thing, well one of the many stupid things, is that the publication of these stories probably would have made no difference to the cultish followers. It’s possible that there was at the ready some unleashed meaningless but hype-friendly anti-Clinton material in the bank.

These “best people” can’t even do crime right.
