Speaking as a lawyer, federal prosecutors generally don’t spend 30 hours interviewing a single witness unless they have a lot of substantive things to cover. It’s far too late in this investigation for random fishing expeditions. What they were likely doing here is asking him questions they already knew at least partial answers for in order to see what he told them.

Donald, I just want to point out that Mueller and his team are NOT looking at Hillary’s emails, Dem collusion (with whom, who knows!), the firings (what firings?), etc.
They are NOT tasked to investigate that. And you know what? You DO NOT need a special counsel to investigate that, because you’ve got an entire justice department you can order to look into that (oh, I know, it’s filled with the deep state, can’t trust them).
But trying to get him to understand laws and rules and such is useless, as we can see from him continuing to complain about an ongoing investigation AND now whining that the Fed isn’t doing what Trump wants them to do (because, you know, Trump knows best!).
