      I wish that White people would just acknowledge that there are two different legal systems based off of skin color (and a special section for Gestapo) and be done with it. It would be a lot more comforting than the awful, gaslighting experience that we have now.

      When you get that drunk or drugged up you just don’t think that way. I had a roommate in college who got up out of bed and took a dump in his closet. He swore he went into the bathroom but the poop on his shoes said otherwise.

      I am not trying to excuse this guy’s behavior. He clearly has issues with black people to so easily drop the n word.

      Castle law is in effect in Tennessee. You can legally defend yourself with a firearm if someone forcibly enters your house, vehicle or business.

      Does it apply for POC? Maybe???

      Not in AL, FL, or GA. Those are the cases I’ve read about here. So I think it’d be safe to say “not below the Mason-Dixon line” would be a fair extrapolation.

    It’s coded and co-opted language to say ‘allegedly’ when the actions can be reasonably be proven true. Is this a thing that journalists have to say in order to absolve themselves of liability?

    Obvious aside because its already been pointed out, this why so many neighborhoods are up in arms about AirBnB taking over their neighborhoods with randos in and out. Like this is in top 5 worst case scenarios
