      Nevermind the fact that “pure breeds” are some of the most genetically messed up creatures, prone to more physical and psychological problems.

      The only advantage of pure breeds is predictability of outcome.. no surprises.. But no growth, no change, and just in general, a genetic dead end. And while the articles linked are more about dogs, genetics is genetics.. it doesn’t matter what species.
