    Having personal experience with child burn victims, it’s going to be a rough, painful road ahead (expensive if skin grafts are involved), I wish them the best.

    To the family of the little boy who did this, get that child some help before he kills someone.

    To the mom of the kid who did this, I dunno, maybe you were in shock when your son set that child on fire, you get some help, too, Ma.

    What a fucked up, sad situation this is.

      This tells me that this wasn’t the first time that this kid has done this. Somewhere there is a dead animal that this kid probably practiced on.

      Now him/her has moved up to people. We have the makings of a serial killer, here people if the kid doesn’t get some help.

      They should arrest his mother for aiding and abetting for doing not a damn thing.

    Those pictures. This baby may never have the relatively normal childhood and adulthood most of us have. I don’t have kids and I’ve never been hyperbolic, but it would take all of me to not yoke that kid up and whoop the mom’s ass.

    The other “mom” present should be charged with the crime. You’re responsible for what your minor child does, especially in your presence. There’s no excuse for something this demented being done by an 8-year-old. Where does he even learn to do something like this? He’ll be lighting houses on fire & blowing up buildings before he’s 15 at this rate.

    This poor baby has a long & painful road ahead. My uncle died after a bad burn accident. He spent a month recovering in hospital only to get MRSA & die. Honestly it was probably for the best considering the immense pain he was in. This child is not ready to leave the hospital yet, that much I know.

    Julian Lyons’s mother, Ashley Lyons, is white, which make me wonder who the neighbors are in that apartment building.  Especially the woman who did nothing to help.
