It actually was illegal. She recorded Kelly firing her inside the Situation Room, which is a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). Which obviously begs the question of why Kelly chose to fire her in a room where recording devices were not allowed.

  So you’re more concerned about recordings then the fact that they trapped this woman in a room and told her she couldn’t leave, obtain counsel or even communicate with loved ones? They could have done anything to her in there and come up with a story about it later. Remember Black lives don’t matter to this group.   All evidence points to Trump lacking a spine during face-to-face encounters. He’ll say whatever he thinks the other person wants to hear (for example being all smiles with other world leaders during summits) only to turn on the rage once he starts tweeting. He’s only a strong man on the internet. So yeah, I definitely agree he played dumb so Omarosa would stay sweet for their last encounter with the plan to tweet about her if she ever betrayed him.
