    They just don’t care, man.

    At the end of the day, all the shit they claim to care about is just window dressing. They don’t care that Trump is using immigrant labor, because to them, it’s smart to do it. They don’t really fear immigrants taking their jobs; they just don’t want immigrants to be here at all. To be a Trump supporter or a Republican is to live in a world in which cognitive dissonance is the norm.

    It’s to be openly hypocritical, to know you’re being openly hypocritical, and to get your rocks off because your hypocrisy annoys other people. The mistake that’s too often made is thinking that these clowns don’t know what they’re doing, and are simply incapable of seeing. They are capable of seeing that Trump doesn’t give a single shit about anything they allegedly care about; they just don’t care. They’ll defend him because he’s going to make life harder for the rest of us.

    The endgame is and always will be our suffering. As long as Trump guarantees that, they’ll keep right on not giving a fuck about how nothing he says or does makes sense.
