    Well, the Catholic Church didn’t kick out any of the priests that abused living children’s bodies so I doubt they’ll kick out the priest that abused a dead woman’s body and family.

    On leave.. in the catholic church-thing just means he won’t preside over services at that location for a bit. He will be at one of their special homes for priests who are drunks or pedo’s or or murderers. It’s all the same to them - it’s nothing more than white male fake justice that waits until the media dies down before they are right back abusing kids and dead folk.

      I’m not kidding when I say this, they should have breathalyzed him. So many priests were drunks when I was a kid, like you could smell the liquor on them at 7:30a mass, noon report card distribution, hell even in the confessional the hooch fumes would waft through the screen.

    For some reason, I have this memory of my mom saying

    “I don’t want that (thing? stuff?) smellin’ up my trash”

    I don’t know what I was putting in the trash as a kid, but I think she said it more than once. Today I’m looking on that statement as more of a philosophic statement. I’mna start saying that more often.

    Can some of y’all stop acting like the Catholic church is the only one with sexual abuse problems, and that pastors in other denominations don’t just go and find another job somewhere else or create a new church? The reason why we don’t hear about them is precisely because they aren’t usually an organized bureaucracy. Hell, I bet you these pastors at these tiny “bible” churches get away with a helluva lot more than a parish priest in a Catholic church these days.
