    You kids and your newfangled technogizmos. Back in my day when you wanted to send nudes, you sent them to the photo processor to be developed and you could guarantee that the only people who would see your photos would be the person you intended to give them to and the handful of strangers working in the booth.

      Or if you happened to bring them in to the CVS I used to work at the entire staff saw them shits and so did their friends, and so did their friends friends and so on and so on. What I’m saying is the photo people make copies for themselves and not just there but motherfucking everywhere!!

    Another option is to get a free* app like Photo Vault, which allows you to keep naughty pics separate from the rest of your photos. Plus it has its own passcode so nosey people can’t “accidentally” stumble on to your special pics.

    It’s also useful if you’re the type of person that has no nekkid pics on their phone but takes photos of injuries and gross body stuff to show their doctor.

    *the free version has ads, but one can pay to make them go away.

      On that subject; one of my kids had a rash (turned out to be eczema, fairly common for infants/toddlers) and the Dr wanted me to take pix and share via healthcare website.

      I made a regular appt. Stuff posted online has a weird tendency to go everywhere.

    If you’re still using Samsung Messages, you should use a different messenger app just off GP. Samsung Messages is awful. Textra is my app of choice - I like the customization options - but Android Messages is also great and will let you text people from your PC.

    (also, if you are still using the default Samsung keyboard, ditch that too. Get SwiftKey or Gboard.)

      If you have a Samsung phone with TouchWiz/Samsung Experience (If you don’t know what that is, you have it.), Messages and Samsung Messages are the same thing.

    Honestly, this was one of the reasons I switched from Android. Not this specifically but the fact that Android was so “open” and convoluted things like this could happen. Out the box, you’d have the OS (Android), the phone manufacturer (Samsung), and the carrier (Verizon) all writing conflicting code that often times caused disruption on the phone. This is a prime example of malicious code (I have no reason to not believe it’s them trying to harvest information and screwing it up) running amuck. 

    A lot of people look at Apple as a phone Nazi but at least they don’t allow a bunch of cooks in the kitchen.

    Word of advice regarding phone cams; the camera app has a little preview of the previously saved or taken picture in the corner. What I'm saying is, if you're a tourist and want me to take a picture of you and your gal at the space needle, make sure that previous photo isnt her butthole.
