“Research points to the academic, social, and emotional benefits to being in a classroom with others who share racial, ethnic, linguistic, and/or cultural backgrounds”

In what world could this even be remotely true?

There could be some twisted truth in there. There are benefits to minority kids having other minority kids around, people who share their experience. It can be difficult to be the only one from your background. This is VERY different from saying people should ONLY be around others of the same race. Research has shown repeatedly that people benefit by being in diverse environments, which nourish open-mindedness and creativity.

Research can say a lot of things if you don’t read it very closely and twist it to fit your narrative.

It’s not like they can have one class of 39 white kids and 1 class of one minority kid. The school doesn’t have enough diversity as it is. Putting them all in one room doesn’t solve that problem.

“Research points to the academic, social, and emotional benefits to being in a classroom with others who share racial, ethnic, linguistic, and/or cultural backgrounds” explains the student handbook for the 97-year-old institution.

Ah, yes, the Jessie Helms Graduate Research Center for the Advancement of Aryan Studies Study.

So the handbook was not updated when the Brown v Board of Education ruling was issued?  Someone in school admin needs to be fired. /s

If it were me, I would segregate the students based on how stupid their parents are in a very binary way: those who vaccinate their kids, and those who don’t. It’ll lower the mortality rate for the group with smart parents.

That’s what the children of stupid people deserve, am I right? Mortality.

I thought we already decided on separate and (not) equal. This can’t be legal. Do they receive ANY federal funding?

No, they don’t. Private schools don’t have to do things like IEPs. But I’m not sure on school segregation. I feel that is still illegal no matter if they are private or not. However, if Betsy Dumbass gets her way, private schools will get federal money and still not have to follow of any of the rules that public schools have too.

I think they might be counting on the next Supreme Court justice being somewhat to the right of Strom Thurmond.

I can’t imagine where they would’ve gotten that idea

I also can’t imagine what they think they’re going to do with the biracial kids.

Who is the idiot administrator who let this even get this far?

I also can’t imagine what they think they’re going to do with the biracial kids.

They’ll be counted as the “least desirable” of their different ethnicities. A mixed-black/white child is black to these people. A mixed white/Asian child might get through, if there was a lot of white, but...probably not.

Have to wonder why this took so long to break. Surely some kids in that school broke out into their other classes and started comparing notes - 7th and 8th grade are where hopes and dreams of privacy go to die, none of those creeps went “heeeeeyyyyyy... you know, I can go 30% of the time not seeing these one group of people...”? And for those who noticed in the lower grades up to this point: y’all weren’t listening to your damn kids?

“It was my daughter who immediately noticed that all the kids of color were in one class. If you’re going to have that policy, you need to be upfront,” he said.

Alternately, if you’re going to have that policy, you need to get your ass beat.

If these folks had kept their little Gingers and Erics in public school and fought for the good teachers to be there instead of in their ‘little red school house,’they wouldn’t have this problem.

They don’t want us in their schools in the first place. Second, if they want us to learn and be somebody, they’d take that private school money and invest it in public schools and fight for better everything all around.

The politicians will pay attention to the little Gingers’ moms or the little Erics dads that has $45,000 to spend on private school tuition a year. They won’t pay attention to the moms and dads of the little Tyrones and Lakeishas. Because quite often they don’t have $450 for the power bill let alone any monies for some private schools.

Yet, here you are stalking black spaces and imsisting on your idiocy. White trash is so predictable. Lmao. Wypipo have never been capable of leaving people of color alone. Your dumb, lazy asses would starve to death without people of color. You’re historically incapable of surviving anything on your own. Lol. So pathetic

Oh, the irony of a white person trolling a black blog complaining about not being able to escape black people...

Here’s how you handle your situation: Get a time machine, go back in time, and tell your piece of shit ancestors to stay their asses in Europe instead of colonizing, pillaging, and raping every POC land and culture they encountered. That’ll fix your whole modern diversity problem right up.

      Dumbass.
