      As a guy with a thick beard who has to shave every day or I start looking a little caveman-ish myself I can’t imagine how he survives the heat in Huntsville AL with all that long hair in the back and neck beard. I guess it’s true, we all must suffer for fashion.

    He and a few others followed Sealy as he walked away from the protesters, still shouting, drawing the attention of police.

    People seemed, um, chill about that guy having a gun. Even with a gun in hand people still felt comfortable following him...that’s crazy to me. But I guess that’s white privilege in a nut shell. They felt confidant enough he wouldn’t irrationally shoot them though he brought the gun and brandished it in the first place at a peaceful rally. Even the police casually just went up to him like no big deal despite everyone yelling gun. Watching white people deal with white people is such startling contrast to how they treat everyone else. I feel like if they could experience a tenth of the disruptive, horribleness that are white people to non white people, things would change much faster. They just don’t get how they generally treat everyone as sub human and don’t afford these sort of luxuries that for them just seem like common sense.

    If you’re in a wide-open place like this “get down” is NOT the safest thing to do when someone has a gun.  Run away, head towards cover and run.

    Just like a piece of shit bully. Harasses people of color, and when confronted, doubles-down with violence. This is why anytime someone says, “Just stand up to the bully!”, they’re either unaware of the fact that isn’t a reliable, magical way of stopping them, or they are aware and simply would rather not have anything change about the bully/victim dynamic.

    This douchebag pulls out a gun to let people know, “I will say what I want and if you try to step up, I will kill you.” Well, you know what? I’d be happy to kill you, too, you right wing piece of human trash. I think we all should be so happy to oblige.

    I must be getting cynical or just gave up hope. Everytime I hear about some person pulling a gun and not getting shot by officers, I say to myself must have been a white guy because if a POC pulls out a cell phone, questions authority, sits down or raises both hands they will get tasered or shot.
