Every single time we make a stride towards some form of gender unity in this community it gets massively undercut by some assholes who think it’s somehow an invasion of their turf.
I don’t know why this makes me so irrationally furious, but I just don’t understand. It’s not like there’s any shortage of space for all of us. Isn’t it a good thing that the women in our lives are starting to share our hobbies? Hell, don’t guys like being around girls?
Two decades ago, we used to be the outcasts. Now we’re the ones outcasting others.
I just don’t understand.

I’m going to recommend that commenters not reply to the bigots and trolls that will inevitably swarm the comments section with their gatekeeping nonsense. Rather, report them to the Kinja Helpdesk (http://kinja.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new), including links or screenshots of the troll’s comments. The mods will get around to shadowban the troll in at least a day.
In addition, please do not reply to or ungrey any bigot or troll. This will only lead to the troll’s comment being bumped to the top of the threads. If you wish to call out their bullshit, simply take a screenshot of the troll’s comment and post it in a reply to your own comment.

  Umm, what? It’s an action game, sure. There have been dozens—of not hundreds—of games I’d consider brutal. Cartoony, cute & colorful Fortnite is a very fun game, but it is *absolutely* NOT brutal.

Fast question as someone who’s been looking to get into Fortnite. Which ones are crossplay and does any particular version have a distinct advantage BECAUSE of crossplay?

I ask because I really want to play it on PS4 but if it’s crossplay with PC I’m less interested because of PC’s advantages. I don’t want to play it o PC because I already play Overwatch there and was more looking for a shooter on my console.

Additionally is Mobile on its own server or is that crossplay as well?

  The way I understand it is there is cross play between PC and PS4 and PC and Xbox but not between Xbox and PS4. Im pretty sure Mobile has its own servers since they changed the way the game is played for the port.

  You can choose the level of cross play so you can play with people who are only on the system that you are. I thought I heard about mobile being able to cross play as well but you would be really shit against a PC player... Consoles could probably compete if you are good.
