I really want him to win because a) love me some Sufjan, and b) I have absolutely no idea what kind of quiet, weird speech he’d give. Maybe he’ll just say “thanks” and walk away.

The opportunity came and went in 1997 when Elliott Smith didn’t win for “Miss Misery.”

I still say they picked the wrong Sufjan song to nominate from Call My by Your Name. It should have been “Visions of Gideon.” Both are wonderful, but I think “Visions” contributes so much more to the movie and is much more hauntingly beautiful.

Agreed. Visions is so beautiful and so powerful when it’s plahed during that last scene.

YES YES YES. I’ve been listening all three songs used in the movie on loop for the past 10 days. He needs to win.

I like This is Me, but I do wish The Greatest Show had been nominated instead, if only because it would be a hell of a way to open the show.

Having Timberlake start the show with Can’t Stop The Feeling last year was a very smart decision.

    I dunno, I don’t usually cry when I’m bored.
