    I recently saw a stand up comedian who pointed out that in the first Rush Hour there is a scene in a bar where Jackie Chan calls the bartender the N word and then proceeds to beat up the entire bar of African Americans. Jackie Chan essentially committed a hate crime.

      I mean, sure, if you ignore the context that he’s playing a foreigner who clearly doesn’t know what that word means, and is just doing what Tucker told him to (“Follow my lead. Do what I do.”). And then he gets attacked (clearly not knowing why), and defends himself.

      The first one is really enjoyable. The second one is OK, but a bit too zany and retreads a lot of ground. The third was just bad.
