    it seems to be getting harder and harder for new social media platforms to catch on. If teens now think Snapchat sucks and that Facebook and Twitter are “for your dad” then what is left?

    You can say Musical.ly, but that’s very limited in what you can do — I’d strain to call it SOCIAL media.

    Well, I am an ancient millenial who understands what Snapchat is and even used it for a while, so she probably has a point.

    The app where I said “That’s it, I’m tapping out,” was musical.ly. I saw the one that went viral where the obnoxious tween heartthrob did a Justin Bieber Musical.ly in front of his grandfather’s deathbed, and immediately knew whatever the fuck this thing was, it was unholy and I could finally claim “Old grouchy loser” with my head held high.

    The Jenner girls are starting to frighten me a bit. They grew up in such a fucked-up environment and seem to be dedicated to living their lives at an accelerated pace, shared continuously via social media. The bleach-blond bob up there makes her look more robot than human. Kylie really is the ultimate evolution of the social media celebrity.
