What’s the most food you’ve ever smuggled into a theater? I once managed to bring in a Wendy’s double cheeseburger, fries and a large frosty.

I’ve walked into movie Theaters drinking soda from fast food places or openly eating candy. Employees really don’t give a shit lol

Last time I went to a Goodrich Theater, I didn’t sneak anything in, but lemme tell you everyone else was doing open carry.  Bags of microwave popcorn, giant gas station slushies, shopping bags overflowing with candy.  This is what happens if you run a movie theater and only let your employees see one free movie a month: they don’t give a fuck.

I like how Target has a section that sells “theater size” candy. What are you supposed to do with that besides sneaking it into a movie?

Down it all in the store, then hide the empty box in the electronics section, like I always do.

Eat it in your home theater that you built because you realized that going to the movies was a waste of time?

Now that I got that out of my system...

Just eat before you go. Or just sneak them in using your coat. Or...wait for it...just don’t eat at all. It’s only an hour or two.

Then sue because Black Panther upset your conservative values and you really needed it. Now you’re suffering from PTSD.

Someone brought AN ACTUAL INFANT to Black Panther and I was so fucking mad. Like, okay, if it’s a quiet baby that’s perfectly fine I guess.

It was not a quiet baby. >:(

Such horrible people. When you bring a baby into a theater you’re telling everyone else you just don’t give a fuck if they enjoy the movie or not.

This is causing an uproar on twitter. Do these people not know how dimensions work?

12 x 12 x 6 is basically the size of a paper grocery bag. Who the fuck needs something bigger than that to bring snacks into a theater?

I’ll assume they ignored the milquetoast executive in the boardroom who meekly pointed out you can’t prohibit bags when 2/3 of your theaters are in malls or shopping complexes.

Considering that the theaters make their money from concessions, I don’t have a problem with them trying to crack down on smuggled snacks. I know the shit’s expensive but I like having theaters around.

Ditto. Over priced food is part of the deal. Either go and or shove your face full of food for 2 hours or just accept you will pay to much for popcorn and a drink.

Due to weather I’ve been wearing jackets or sweatshirts to the movie theater recently. I’m gonna take a Tear & Share bag of skittles next time. I’ve never purchased candy at a theater. As a guy that buys candy in bulk or looks out for good deals, theater priced candy has never made sense to me.

It’s kind of like the people that buy stuff from vending machines at work. Go stock up at your local grocery store or Costco/Sam’s Club. Buying a can of soda for ~$1 each time is crazy. A 12-pack of syrup water doesn’t cost $12. Why aren’t people smart with their money?

Hey sometimes fountain soda is worth it. Not like $10 movie theater price worth it, but on other occasions.

At my old job the fountain drinks were free refills and the cafeteria was open the whole day so that one dollar cup was worth it because I filled it up four or 5 times a day.
