Disgusting. I hope to god I never find myself before a judge in a court of law. I have no faith in the judicial system.

Still, show up for jury duty, since you may be the one who may help prevent this kind of travesty of justice

Actually I just had my first jury duty summons. It was a rather dispiriting process. In the process of selection, I got the distinct impression that both sides were after the dumbest, most impressionable people in the lot.

Yeah. “Poor Brendan” is my refrain whenever I think of or someone mentions Making a Murderer. I hope the conviction is ultimately overturned and, perhaps more importantly, he gets the help and support he’ll need to reintegrate into society.

Whomever did whatever, this kid doesn’t deserve what he’s getting.

So can we assume this is because if Dassey gets off, they could use it to exonerate Avery? I just saw the series a few weeks ago, but it was clear that little about Dassey’s confession lined up with the facts. (ie-where was the blood on the bed, or the shackle marks on the wood head/foot boards?)

I dropped a 2oz tub of BBQ sauce in my kitchen and it went EVERYWHERE. I was still finding random blobs days later. There is no fricking way that violent and bloody assault/murder happened as the sheriffs described it where they claimed it happened.

How anyone could watch the videos of that confession, and know the facts about this kid, and think it’s all above-board is beyond me. Morons.

The war on the poor and the intellectually disabled (Brendan Dassey qualifies according to Making a Murderer) was portrayed perfectly in this maelstrom of a case
