Doesn’t this woman realize she just ruined Alec Baldwin’s weekend?

      John Oliver...however....sleeps easy.

Why does none of this surprise me about Hoffman? That is the weirdest thing. It is almost like they give off some kind of signal in their work..

Wonder what Rappaport and Baldwin will say about this.

Probably something thought-out, insightful, and aware that views other than their own exist and are valid

Unfortunately I checked Rappaport’s twitter page after I posted this. It’s not pretty. He’s retweeting people who are criticizing him for his comments. In one case a woman who came at him with “Yo, @MichaelRapaport what’s good? You still flapping your lips about your good old boy nonsense or you ready to apologize?” and was replied to by him with the following tweey: homey, I got something you can flap your lips on

Also discovered someone claiming that he is pretending to be his own son on twitter so he could tweet at some guy that didn’t like Hitch. Don’t go to his twitter page. It’s weird.

ages ago, *Glamour* published a blind article — not just an item — in which a woman gave a remembrance of a blind date with an actor who had been well regarded in part due to his moving oscar speech, and the context clues pointed as easily to hoffman as the blind items recently did to lck. it was a lock. during the date, the actor behaved in ways that were dickish, histrionic, narcissistic, and leading to embarrassment for all concerned or present. while no rape occurred that i can recall, i do remember that this article was the genesis for my looking askance at any post-Tootsie feminist talk coming from hoffman in interviews.

Wasn’t his main take away from Tootsie not that it’s hard out there for a woman, but that it’s the hard out there for an ugly woman?

for him personally, or in the movie? i don’t remember. oddly enough , i do remember him being interviewed on tv and saying to women/girls in the audience that if a guy sees your body hair and goes ‘yuck,’ that he was kind of an idiot and not worth your time. shaving below the face can teach a man some things i guess. too bad he got everything else wrong.

So, like, maybe you guys should use a less milquetoast term than misconduct for these stories.

The crap he put Meryl Streep through during the filming of “Kramer vs. Kramer” has been long and well-documented. This surprises me not at all. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/03/meryl-streep-kramer-vs-kramer-oscar

Thanks for the link. Read the whole thing. The odd thing is, she still gave him a kiss on the cheek when her name was announced as the winner of the Oscar for Supporting Actress so, despite the outrageous, unprompted smack across the face from Hoffman, she seemed to shake it off, no?

I <3 Huckabee’s is becoming a very difficult movie to watch, in spite of its message being divorced from the behaviors of its creative personnel.

It’s never just one. Never never.

Which makes the “oh so we’re all supposed to just believe what this one person says?!?” takes so delicious.
